1:1 Coaching
FAQs
What can I expect from coaching?
Think about a sports coach. They help professional athletes get from good to great to world-class.
Coaches don’t do the work for athletes, but they give them the structure, tools, guidance and building blocks to help them achieve their dreams.
Athletes invest in coaches because they want to reach the pinnacle of the sporting world (Olympics, World Cup etc.). Why should it be any different for your career or your life ambitions?
Our executive & career coaches give you the same guidance, tools and support that sporting coaches give their athletes.
How do coaching sessions work?
You meet with your coach over Zoom on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cadence. Each session is focused on unblocking something that’s standing in the way of achieving your goals. Sessions combine coaching theory with reflective exercises and are highly tailored to your individual circumstances.
Between sessions, you may receive action items to work on.
Coaching programs usually last 4-6 months to allow time for reflection, growth and change, but some people want a coach indefinitely to guide them through the ever-changing landscape of professional and personal development!
It feels scary to invest money in myself. Is that normal?
Absolutely. By investing in yourself, you signal to your subconscious that you’re ready to make a change. It holds you accountable to showing up and doing the work required to transform your life and your career.
A common obstacle many of our clients face is self-imposed blocks around money, and we work on re-wiring your money beliefs so you actually end up earning more in the long-run with a little upfront investment.
How do I know if my coach and I will work well together?
The best way to test a coach/coachee dynamic is to jump on a free, no-obligation discovery call! This allows you and your coach to get to know each other and assess if you have the chemistry and trust needed to establish an effective coaching relationship.
